Located in downtown Huntsville, the Huntsville Mall is a picturesque greenscape situated in front of the historic courthouse square. Today, the mall is used for several public events throughout the year. The most notable of those events is Huntsville’s Firemen’s Fourth Festival each Independence Day holiday, but the mall is also host to the Scott County Chamber of Commerce’s Fall on the Mall in October, and two Brimstone events each year — White Knuckle Event on Memorial Day weekend and Paragon in September.

Adjacent to the mall on its east side is the Scott County Veterans Memorial, which honors Scott County’s war dead. The historic county courthouse is on the south end of the mall, along with the old Scott County Jail, which was originally built in 1904 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Next to the old jail is the original First National Bank building, which is also listed on the historic register. On the west side of the mall is Brimstone’s headquarters and the federal building which houses the Huntsville Post Office.
