Beer permits for retailers in the Town of Huntsville are regulated by the Huntsville Mayor and Board of Aldermen, which also serves as the town’s Beer Board. Beer sales are permitted in Huntsville. Beer sales are prohibited from 11:00 p.m. to  6:00 a.m. and on election days while the polls are lawfully open. 8-214(2) of the Municipal Code. The sale of packaged liquor and on-premises liquor is prohibited by law in the Town of Huntsville.

Retailers are required to comply with legal statutes and ordinances governing beer sales in the State of Tennessee and the Town of Huntsville. Compliance checks are routinely conducted by S.T.A.N.D. and law enforcement.
