The Town of Huntsville will have the second reading of Ordinance 25-02-01 an Ordinance to Amend Title 8 of the Town of Huntsville Municipal Code by Establishing Liquor Regulations and Amending Beer Regulations at the Huntsville Municipal Building on Thursday, April 17th at the regular meeting of the Board of Mayor and Aldermen beginning at 6:00 p.m.
In anticipation of the approval of the second reading, any one interested in opening a retail package store can pick up the application forms beginning Thursday, March 20th after 12:00 p.m.
No returned applications will be accepted before Friday, April 18th. Since the Town is preparing to only allow one retail store, if there are multiple applications picked up, the Town will accept applications through May 1st at 2:00 p.m.
Only complete applications will be considered.
If more the application qualifies then the Town of Huntsville reserves the right to hold a lottery from the approved complete applications to determine which store will receive the Certificate of Compliance.
